Rochester: at the age of 59. He was born on February 20th 1963 in Chili NY. Al was a good man who loved his family, friends, and job just alike. Alan worked at Gleason Works for 15 years. He enjoyed spending time with family, rooting for the Cowboys and his cat Mr. Winston. Alan is survived by his grandsons, Jake Jr and Ryder; his bonus daughter, Alexandra; cousins, Carol, Jean, Jennifer, Jeanmarie, Kim, Monique, Ann, Tracey, Cheryl, Carol, Sheila, Doug, & Dick; and his goddaughter, Patrice. Alan is predeceased by his son, Jake Sr; parents, Margaret & Raymond Thygesen; brother, Kevin; grandparents, Genevieve, Robert Ewell, and William Leo Gauck; uncle, Thomas Gauck; and his beloved German Shepherds Sarge & Dallas.
Alan had many, many amazing friends and a second family at Gleason's. In lieu of flowers the family gratefully will accept donations directly to the family for final expenses.
Visitation at Thomas Funeral Chapels, Saturday November 12th from 2pm-3:30pm; prayer service 3:30pm.
