Allen R. Russell, a cherished husband, father, grandfather, and friend, left this world on November 13, 2024, in Rochester, New York, at the age of 71. Born on July 27, 1953, in the town of Brownsville, Pennsylvania, Allen lived a life richly woven with family ties, music, and an unwavering sense of duty.

For many years, he was the proprietor of Window & Door World on Stonewood Avenue, where he became a beloved figure in the community, known for his exceptional craftsmanship and customer service. A proud United States Army Veteran, Allen served his country with distinction.

Beyond the realm of work, music was a profound passion for Allen. He was the founding member of the Imaginary Few rock band, captivating audiences in Rochester and beyond. Their performances in local clubs showcased not only Allen's talent but also his ability to draw people together with the universal language of music. He had the privilege of playing alongside many highly recognized musicians, creating a tapestry of cherished memories and artistic expression that will resonate for years to come.

Allen's legacy lives on through his loving family. He is survived by his devoted loving wife of 52 years,Terry Russell; his loving mother-in-law Carol Lantz; his daughters, Amber Russell and Rhiena (Heidi) Russell; his son, Allen Russell; and his grandchildren, Mitchell Kane, Ian Kane, Isobella Beck, Christopher Russell, Vance Sweet, and Sawyer Russell. The joy of his great-granddaughter, Emma Russell, filled his heart with immeasurable love and pride.

He also leaves behind his brothers, Robert Russell and Greg (Dawn) Clark, Keith (Terri) Clark; treasured nephews, Trevor Russell and Craig Richtar; and beloved niece, Carly Richtar. Allen cherished the bonds he formed with many relatives and friends, who will undoubtedly carry forward his spirit in their own lives.

Though Allen is preceded in death by his father, Allen Russell; his mother, Nancy Colbert; step-mother, Margaret Russell; and sister, Alana Richtar, he is remembered as a pillar of strength and kindness, whose influence will forever resonate in the hearts of all who had the honor of knowing him.

As we reflect upon Allen R. Russell's impactful life, we celebrate the vibrant legacy he leaves behind—a testament to love, creativity, and the enduring connections formed throughout his journey. He will be profoundly missed, yet his spirit will continue to inspire those fortunate enough to have crossed paths with him.
