Judy was born 1941 in Rochester to Donald and Tillie Sanger. She attended RIT for a year before she adventurously eloped to North Carolina where she was married to Charlotte High School sweet heart Tom Weaver on August 31, 1960. Together Tom and Judy raised five sons. Judy dedicated herself to her family and neighbors, and especially loved holidays, babies, culinary arts, dolls, painting, crafts, animals, gardening, fishing, and investing.
Judy is survived by Tom and their five sons, Don, Jim (Labiba), Casey (Carrole), Randy (Teresa) and Dan (Sara), and 13 grandchildren Rebecca Jude, Casey Marie, Anisa, Marya, Ibrahim, Safiyah, Ilyas, Abdur Rahman, TJ, Joey, Hannah, Zayna, and Levi. Judy had a long lasting impact on the lives many women whom she was a second mother to, including granddaughters Rebecca Jude & Casey Marie, Stacie, Kat, Carrole, Joanie, and many others who looked to Judy for love and guidance.
In Heaven she is reunited with her parents, sister Sharon, daughter-in-law Carrole, and Jesus.
Judy was fond of the quote, which the family feels represents her: Take big bites, moderation is for monks. Judy was extravagant in her people investments. Her loss will be felt by many.
