Greece:Passed away peacefully on Saturday, June 2 at the age of 89. June was born in Geneva, NY on April 8, 1929 to Ruth Alice and John Edward Walsh. She is predeceased by her parents and her siblings, along with her beloved husband, Hugh L. Jones; and daughter, Amy LeBerth. June is survived by her 3 children, Nancy (Joseph) Mikiewicz, Jennifer (Scott) Ertel, and Tom (Darcy) Jones; 10 grandchildren, Shawn, Joseph (Michelle), Sarah (Taylor), Christine (Andrew), Trevor, Aaron (Carly), Philip, Kelly (James), Daisy, Lucien; brother-in-law, Carl Naegele, sister-in-law Rita Walsh, many nieces, nephews, and dear friends.
June enjoyed reading, playing bridge with neighbors on Shore Acres Drive, bowling, golfing, walking with friends, and volunteering at Holy Cross Church.
Her children would like to acknowledge staff and residents of GrandeVille Senior Living Community for the care she received and the new friendships she made. Also, thank you to the McCormick Transitional Care Center and Lifetime Care Hospice for easing her journey back to the Lord.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend her Mass of Christian Burial on Thursday, June 7 at 11:00 AM at Holy Cross Church, 4492 Lake Ave., Rochester NY. Inurnment, Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials in June\'s name may be made to Holy Cross Church.
