O\'Brien, Matthew J.

Rochester: January 14, 2017, after a brief illness. Loving son of the late Richard J. and Mary Rose O\'Brien. Cherished brother of Patricia (Keith) Gallagher of Pinckney MI; Maureen (Philip) Sullivan of Hamburg NY, & Barbara (Richard) O\'Brien-Miller of Eden NY; special cousin of Robert (Earlene McKinnon-Gray) Gray of Prince Edward Island, Canada; dear uncle to several nieces and nephews. Matt was a computer analyst at Strong Memorial Hospital for 30 years, longtime volunteer with Camp Good Days, and a friend to all.

A celebration of his life will be held at 1pm, Saturday January 21st, at the Interfaith Chapel at Strong Memorial Hospital, 601 Elmwood Ave. If desired, memorials may be made to the Wilmot Cancer Institute at the University of Rochester Medical Center or Camp Good Days & Special Times.
