Raymond K. Kutterhoff

Raymond Kutterhoff of Brockport, NY passed away peacefully at Strong Memorial Hospital on Thursday August 29, 2024, at 9:35pm. Ray was born on June 17,1949 in Geneva NY, later living at the Villages of Orleans at the time of his death. He is predeceased by his parents George L. Kutterhoff and Gladys (Peffers) Kutterhoff, his older brother George L. Kutterhoff Jr, and younger sister Gloria J. (Kutterhoff) Woods and x-wife Joanne.

Ray had started his Fire Fighting career as a member of the Morton Fire Company (now Hamlin, Morton, Walker Fire Dist.) from 1986-87, then Churchville Fire Dept. from 1988-89 before moving to Brockport where he joined Harrison Hose Co. #2 Brockport Fire Dept. in 1989. He joined the Brockport Ambulance Corps and the Brockport Fire Police Squad where he was elected as a Lieutenant. Later becoming a Life Member and joining the Brockport Fire Dept. Exempts, Ray worked at Caldwell Manufacturing for many years. He then changed jobs and worked at SUNY Brockport in Facilities. He is survived by his younger brother Robert C. Kutterhoff (Mississippi) and sister Virginia (Kutterhoff) Roney (Auburn NY), numerous nieces and nephews as well as his friends, the Menear family and his Fire Service family.
