Bloom, Robert A.

Rochester: Passed away Thursday, September 25, 2014, at age 66. Predeceased by his father, Robert D. in 1999 and his loving wife, Bobbi, in 2010. He is survived by his mother, Sally Bloom; sons, Mason (Brittany) and Matthew (Chelsea Allen) Bloom; grandson, Dante; and sister, Patricia (David) Prusak. He also leaves behind two nephews, a niece, and several \"grands\".

After graduating from Aquinas in 1966, Bob joined the Navy and served on a nuclear submarine before being reassigned to a sub tender docked in Bremerton, Washington, where he lived off-base and divided his time between his Navy duties and the emerging hippie scene. After attending photography school in New York City, Bob returned to Rochester and joined his father working in Building 9 at Kodak for many years. Bob enjoyed auctions, flea markets, and garage sales, always looking to expand his collection of old toys.

At Bob\'s request, there will be no formal services or shedding of tears. Family and friends are invited to gather at the Camp Eastman Conference Center (off Lakeshore Blvd in Irondequoit) on Sunday, October 12th from 1 to 4 p.m. for the sharing of food and memories in celebration of his earthly and eternal life.
