Robert E. Carter

Robert E. Carter, born on June 24, 1961, in Riga, NY, passed away peacefully on December 21, 2024. He was a devoted father and a cherished grandfather.

Robert was a former employee at Roosevelt's Service Station in East Rochester as well as Northside Salvage. His commitment to his work reflected his strong character and work ethic, traits that endeared him to colleagues and customers alike.

In addition to his professional endeavors, Robert had a passion for gardening and enjoyed working on cars. He was an avid football fan and found great joy in watching games. His love for his cats was notable, as was his enthusiasm for spending time with his grandchildren – Matthew, Aria, and Olivia – who brought immense joy and light into his life.

Robert is survived by his sons and daughter, Matt (Jamie), Andrew, Michael, and Ashlynne Carter (Chris Montulli). He is also lovingly remembered by his close sister, Barbara (Ron) Conrad, several other brothers and sisters, and many relatives and friends who will miss him dearly.

Visitation scheduled for  Monday December 30, 2024, from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at Thomas Funeral Chapels, located at 4545 Lake Ave, Rochester, NY 14612.
