Robert J. Yates

Robert Yates passed away peacefully at home following a rapid decline from cancer. Son of Frederick Yates and Maude “Betty” Walker, he was predeceased by his beloved wife Edna (Janes), and is survived by sons Dr Charles (Maura), David, Michael (Michelle), and 9 grandchildren. A retired machine operator at Xerox in both Henrietta and Webster, he was a lifelong Democrat and union member. Bob was owner of the sports memorabilia shop “The Ump”, a proud Navy veteran who served on the USS Midway from 1956-60, and a diehard Chicago Cubs fan.
