Roger M. Miles

Roger M. Miles "Big Rog" passed away on June 10, 2024 at the age of 74, in his hometown of Rochester NY, after bravely battling cancer. He was born on December 26, 1949, in Rochester NY, to his loving parents Roger F. and Barbara Miles.

Roger led a fulfilling life as a retiree of Monroe Community College, where he dedicated himself as a Computer Technician. His passion for technology shone through his work and left a lasting impact on those around him.

Aside from his successful career, Roger also proudly served in the New York Army National Guard, embodying the values of service and dedication throughout his life.

Beyond his professional accomplishments, Roger had a zest for life. He found joy in sailing the open waters, embracing the beach life, and expressing his creativity through woodworking. His adventurous spirit and love for the outdoors brought light to all who knew him.

Roger will be deeply missed by his surviving family and friends, including his son Roger M. Miles and his brother Doug (Maria) Miles. Despite the sorrow felt at his loss, memories of Roger's kindness, wisdom, and laughter will forever be cherished by those whose lives he touched. He is predeceased by his parents Roger F. & Barbara Miles.

In honoring Roger M. Miles' memory, let us celebrate a life well-lived and a person fondly remembered for his strength, and unwavering spirit.
