Sharon Margaret McAnn

Greece - Sharon Margaret (Sanger) McAnn passed on October 17, 2018 surrounded by family after a long battle with cancer.

She was born in Rochester to Donald and Tillie Sanger on February 9, 1943, and lived in Rochester her entire life, where she graduated from Charlotte high school.

She married Peter Donald McAnn on August 31, 1963 and honeymooned in Cape Cod, which remained a special place in her heart and which she visited as often as she could. She was predeceased by her husband Peter on November 16, 2007.

Above all else, Sharon cherished her family, and looked forward to holidays and vacations where she would spend time with her loved ones.

She loved her pets, Christmas, Easter, Cape Cod, Old Forge, Fresh Wellfleet oysters, \"pedogies\", \"kluskies\", a good rare steak and cooking shows.

She was an outstanding cook, loved to sew, knit, do needle point, garden and travel. She had many interest and many more friends. She loved and was loved by just about anyone she met.

She is survived by her children Peter Jr. (Rebecca), Kathryn; Grandchildren Megan and Ian McAnn; Sister Judy (Thomas) Weaver; nephews Donald, James, Casey, Randall (Teresa), and Daniel (Sara) Weaver.
