Shirley A. Pealo

May 10, 1942 — April 5, 2023

Shirley was born on May 9th, 1942 to Imogene and Earl Lloyd in Rochester, NY and passed peacefully on April 5th, 2023 in her 80th year. Raised in the backdrop of Highland Park and an avid sports fan, she spent much of her youth playing baseball and ice skating and many more supporting all of her son’s sports endeavors thru the years. An accomplished bowler, along with her sister Winifred, she won many trophies and spoke fondly of her days traveling the state to bowl with friends and family. She was also a fan of card games and crafts, having created various works of art throughout her life, as well as being a master of Euchre. She had four sons: Jeffrey, Kevin ( Susan Fittos), Darrell and Randy (predeceased) Pealo raised in Spencerport, NY. In addition, she is survived by her 8 grandchildren; Meaghan, Jessica, Andrew, Alexandria, Logan, Holly-Ann, Allan, and Nya Pealo—of whom she adored more than life itself. She was very close to her siblings George (Susan) - Winifred (predeceased) and William Lloyd (predeceased) and many long standing friends and was well-known for her strong sense of humor. She will be laid to rest alongside her family in Maplewood Cemetery in Rochester NY.

Funeral services will be private. As per her wishes, there will be a Celebration of Life hosted in her honor. Anyone who wishes to attend or would like to send flowers in her memory should RSVP to nlt722@yahoo.com and will receive further information.
