Irondequoit: January 17, 2018. Age 92. Predeceased by his wife Betty. Survived by children, William (Linda), Kathy (Jack) Smith, Terrence (Anne), Nancy Samay, RJ; grandchildren, Dan, Cheryl, Steven, Andrew, Terence, Timmy, Shannon, Dale, Ricky, Cory, Ryan; several great-grandchildren; many dear relatives and friends. William was the proprietor of Gerstner & Statt, famous for removing the white marble from the Lincoln Tower in Rochester NY. He was a Commodore & Senior Member of the Genesee Yacht Club. Bill was a proud US Army Veteran, who fought in the Battle of the Bulge, and was a member of the local Battle of the Bulge group.
Family & friends may call at Thomas Sunday Jan 21st from 1-5pm. Funeral Mass, Holy Cross Church, Monday 10am. In lieu of flowers contributions may be directed to Holy Cross Church.
